What is Metabolism?
The energy which is converted from the consumed food and given to the organ of the body and is stores it as fat for future is called metabolism. In other words, the best utilization of metabolism is to burn calories and store less fat. If we are having slower metabolism which produces more calories, therefore, more fat can be stored in our body.
As we know that human being can take rest but their organs cannot take rest. They are always on working and need energy to run their organs. Human being can take the rest but their internal organs don't have a rest. For running internal machine, they need power. At this time, Metabolism provides them energy to work. The energy which is bestowed to the organ in order to make them work.
In spite of sleeping, our digestion system works. And the energy which is generated is called Basal Metabolic Rate is bestowed to those organs which are working at that time such as snore, breathing, and the list goes on. It goes without saying that our body needs energy round the clock. Basal Metabolic Rate is the center of providing energy for those organs which continues, and then we sleep.
There are many factors which increases and decreases the speed of the metabolism age is one of them. The production of metabolism depends on age, if person is 20 years old, he can produce more energy and in comparison to those people who are 50 years old, and they creates less metabolism. Because their body requires less energy therefore, they produce less energy. .
Weight is the major factors which influence a persons BMR. If you are lean and have slim structure of your body, metabolism will produce more BMR. IF you are having less weight it will generate les BMR.
Another important factor is that its gender. In most cases, men have capability to produce more BMR compared to women. Last but not the least, metabolism will depend on heredity.
BMR cannot be equal with their same weight and their same gender. Ever with their same age, it hinges on heredity. In spite of these similarities, they will not have equal BMR in their body.
Through comparison which brings light on the metabolic rate of men and women, it shows that men have more metabolic rate than women. |
